Summer Bishil, an American actress is most famous for her role as Margo Hanson in the Syfy Fantasy series The Magicians. She had previously gained recognition by playing a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing turbulent personal struggles against the context of the U.S. military invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later, in 2007 Variety named her one of its 10 Actors-to-Watch. In 2009, she played the strong Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. Alongside Lucky 7, she has also starred in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and starred in a number of TV guest parts.
